Check it out! Love this set from FLOURISHES called "Sweet Violets"! Flourishes is sponsoring our challenge for July 15th on the Copic Creations blog! I used some sweet "memory box " dp and punched out a butterfly with a ms punch. My copics used were:

BV00, BV02, BV04 on the flowers..starting with the lightest color first--then YG11, BG93, G21 and Y15. Okay, why did I mix the greens so much? Well, that is the beauty of Copics! When you dont have all the right trios you can improvise some! I have cut out a few of the leaves and put them on with dimensionals, then I added a few little crystals! Be sure to check out all the samples from the Copic dt blog and all the GORGEOUS stamps at FLOURISHES! tfl! :)

Quite a while ago Kelley (at ODBD) had bought me this bg dp "Periphery" and later I found an elements page to go with it so this didnt take long at all to put together! Sometimes (alot of the time) I love when that happens! :) The verse is from one of the new sets at ODBD called "Mother Teresa" (set of 5). We all know how many wonderful quotes she said that were repeated over and over by many people !

The flowers are from Michaels...that Nursery tales is gorgeous stuff. TFL and have a great Tuesday! :)

A Card for the death of a dog... :(

A friend asked me to make a card for someone who had lost their dog who was so very special to them for so many years. He also asked if I could somehow put the dog's name on the card. Here is what I came up with. The stamped verse was given to me so I dont know where this stamp is from but I would LOVE to own it! I chose this cool dp pad I bought at JoAnns a while ago called the Green Stack and I colored with Copics. The flowers are Primas and the dog's name is computer generated. I drew a little heart on it..So very sad..I have lost too many dogs and it is so very hard...thanks for looking and have a great weekend! :)

Copic Creations..New Challenge..Brunette hair

Copic Creations is ready with a BRAND NEW challenge for you to try! Hey..I loved this one cuz it's EASY PEASY...Brunette hair! Love it! Scor-Pal is sponsoring this challenge and you gotta check out the blog to see all the FABULOUS creations this month for this challenge!! Seriously...these girls TOTALLY knocked me out with their designs and I just cant say enough about their talent!! I colored Tilda's hair with E33, E35 and E 47. The cool thing is I got this dp at a flea market when I was visiting my sister in New Mexico! It cost me .50 cents! Love it! I dotted or "snowed" Tilda with a Sharpie poster-paint pen that Suzanne Dean recommends on her blog and sewed a border of snowflakes around the card. The flowers are primas and I used my ms punch. We got a little glitter goin on over the snow (rip) hills and I just cut Tilda out and put her on dimensionals. TFL!! :)
